Top star and former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa is set for her first singles match on AEW Dynamite in two years.
On the January 20 edition of AEW Collision, Thunder Rosa competed in her first singles match on AEW TV since August 2022 when she defeated Queen Aminata.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion made her comeback from injury on the December 23 episode of AEW Collision. She has been making more appearances recently.
On Tuesday afternoon, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that Thunder Rosa will face Red Velvet in singles action on this Wednesday’s January 24 edition of AEW Dynamite.
This will mark Rosa’s first singles match on Dynamite since the August 3, 2022 episode.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet will attempt to get back on the winning end of things after her loss to Deonna Purrazzo on the January 13 edition of AEW Collision.
