Top WWE Star Says Baron Corbin Is The Best Heel In The Company

While WWE has no shortage of effective heels, most fans would likely point to current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns as the top bad guy in the company.

However, it seems certain WWE talent may hold someone else in that regard.

Smackdown star Drew McIntyre recently spoke to Daily Mail’s Alex McCarthy and gave a current under-appreciated Raw talent the distinction of the company’s best heel.

In McIntyre’s opinion a former rival of his Baron Corbin deserves that title, with Drew reflecting on his experience with the 38-year-old at last year’s WrestleMania.

McIntyre would reveal Corbin’s role in preparing him for an eventual feud with Roman Reigns, with Corbin’s receptiveness to the role leaving a lasting impression on the ‘Scottish Warrior’.

McIntyre said:

“It was very cool for Corbin to be cool with it, not cool but understanding of it, being at WrestleMania as the baby face on the rise going onto wrestle Thanos in Roman Reigns after that, I had to be propped up as big as possible and everything was going into that character to try and get him ready.”

“The heel’s job is to do that, and there is no better heel in the company than Corbin, he is a true heel through and through and he is very giving in matches for such big guy.”

McIntyre is set to face Gunther and Sheamus in a Intercontinental Championship three-way on night two of WrestleMania.

However, a new report on Drew’s WWE contract has potentially suggested that this year’s WrestleMania could be his last.
