Trinity Fatu Reunites With Former WWE Star

Trinity Fatu has reunited with a former WWE star.

At IMPACT Slammiversary, Trinity Fatu defeated Deonna Purrazzo to win the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship.

Fatu has been showered with praise and support from her former WWE colleagues, but she has now reunited with a former co-worker that remembers her beginning days in the company.

On July 29, the former Naomi took to Twitter to post a photo of herself and former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee (AJ Mendez). Trinity wrote the following caption:

Nothing like seeing an old friend after years (over a decade) and feeling like no time has been lost. @TheAJMendez thank you for being you!

The two women were part of WWE NXT Season 3 in 2010 together. They were widely regarded as two of the standouts of that season.

Trinity will defend the Knockouts World Championship against Deonna Purrazzo at IMPACT Emergence in Philadelphia on Sunday, August 27.
