WWE has now shared a heartwarming video of Triple H congratulating Bad Bunny following his match at WWE Backlash 2023.
At the May 6 premium live event, the Puerto Rican rapper stepped back into the ring to face off against Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.
The two stars battled it out for 25 minutes, before Bad Bunny was eventually able to hit his ‘Bunny Destroyer’ piledriver to score a victory over the Judgment Day member.
Following the bout, it was reported that many backstage thought that the bout exceeded expectations.
It was also reported that there were a number of WWE names waiting in Gorilla position backstage to celebrate with the celebrity.
In a new video, WWE has confirmed that one of the individuals waiting to congratulate Bad Bunny was Chief Content Officer Triple H.
The video below shows Triple H embracing Bunny and exchanging words with the Puerto Rican star.
Despite Priest and Bad Bunny previously pushing for their match to main event the show, their street fight went on third from last.
The premium live event was headlined by a huge singles bout, with Cody Rhodes squaring off against Brock Lesnar.
Rhodes ultimately picked up the victory, pinning Lesnar while trapped in his Kimura lock submission hold.
