Triple H Made Changes To Brock Lesnar & Oba Femi WWE Raw Segment Ahead Of Hell In A Cell Match At SummerSlam 2026

Triple H reportedly made some changes to the Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi segment on WWE Raw ahead of their Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam.

Last night’s July 27 episode of WWE Raw in the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California played host to a “weigh-in” segment with Lesnar and Femi ahead of their deciding match at SummerSlam after their previous two matches at WrestleMania and Clash In Italy have led to their record being tied at one win apiece.

However, the segment saw Lesnar refuse to enter the Hell in a Cell structure that Femi, Triple H and Adam Pearce were inside, and Femi attacking the security that was in the ring.

In some notes on the segment, PWInsider Elite reports that Triple H, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, was “very much in control of dictating” how the segment played out.

It was noted that he even called some audibles live in the ring for Femi’s attack on the security.

A change was made regarding the positioning of the segment on WWE Raw as well, as earlier plans had it down as taking place later in the show, but it ended up being moved to the start.

WWE Decides On SummerSlam Night 1 For Brock Lesnar Vs. Oba Femi

In an intriguing move, WWE has decided that the Hell in a Cell match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will take place on night one of SummerSlam, which is Saturday, August 1.

This is the same night as the Undisputed WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, while the World Heavyweight Title match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins is on night two.

Could that be an indication that Femi shows up either during or after the Reigns vs Rollins match, potentially to stake his claim at a World Title shot?

It’d be understandable if WWE wanted to hold back on Femi’s crowning moment until a major event like WrestleMania 43, but the problem is, what does he do in the meantime? There’s a serious risk of him cooling off during that period if the booking doesn’t keep him hot, so the best bet would probably be to strike now.
