With WrestleMania 39 now under two weeks away, the card for the show is all but finalised, with plans being made for the show of shows.
WWE reportedly has plans in place for after the show, which is a change from previous years, but it seems the company still do not know which plans will be used.
The main event of the show sees Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.
Many people believe that WrestleMania will be the coronation of the American Nightmare, with Reigns taking time off after the show, but that is apparently not a certainty.
Per WrestleVotes, Reigns is slated to take ‘significant time off’ following the show, but that is entirely based on whether or not he has dropped the titles by then.
WrestleVotes added that Reigns dropping the titles is ‘not certain’ as of right now, which seemingly means the finish for the WrestleMania main event has not yet been set in stone.
Cody and Roman went face to face on last night’s Raw, with several mentions of AEW made by both the champion and challenger.
Adding to this: I’m told this is contingent on if / when Reigns eventually loses the titles. As of now, those plans are not certain. https://t.co/ZhVALxMdst
