As the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continues on tonight’s WWE NXT, a semi-final round match kicked off the show with a bang!
The semi-finals of the Dusty Cup kicked off tonight’s WWE NXT with a match featuring Nathan Frazer and Axiom taking on Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.
The match was full of compelling action with a solid juxtaposition of styles, featuring the high flying action of Axiom/Frazer against the heavy hitting hands of Corbin and Breakker.
However in the end, it would be Bron Breakker pinning Nathan Frazer to pick up the victory for the unlikely duo.
With the win, the pair advanced to the finals of the Dusty Classic and are even closer to taking home the Dusty Cup trophy.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, a major announcement as a fan favorite WWE name made their on-screen return and delivered big news about a development regarding leadership for the brand.
