Major Update On Potential War Games Match At WWE Survivor Series WWE

Last year’s WWE Survivor Series event saw the main roster debut of the War Games match.

The night saw two War Games matches, with the women’s match seeing Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Michin defeat Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley.

The men’s match saw the Bloodline team of Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn defeat Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Sheamus and the Brawling Brutes.

Ahead of this year’s Survivor Series, many had wondered if War Games would return for this year’s edition of the event, and we seemingly now have our answer.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), as of this week, War Games is being planned for this year’s Survivor Series event.

Fightful had heard that a men’s match is currently on the table, and has not heard one way or another as of now about a potential women’s match.

Fightful notes that it was ‘heavily implied’ that the Judgment Day would feature in the match, which has not been officially confirmed.

Survivor Series takes place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on November 25.
