Since Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative, various former WWE stars have returned to the company, including most recently Chelsea Green in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
However, Triple H’s interest in bringing back former stars doesn’t seem to be over, as Fightful Select recently reported that WWE had interest in bringing back former Raw Tag Team Champions Akam and Rezar, AOP.
The report also noted that former manager Paul Ellering could return alongside the team.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), those that Fightful have spoken to have said that the pair have an incredible amount of loyalty to Ellering, and that he would be heading up negotiating the deal.
AOP are far from the only wrestlers WWE has interest in bringing in, with the company showing heavy interest in Jay White, Kota Ibushi and even Kenny Omega in recent weeks.
