There has been an update on the future of a major WWE target amid their upcoming contract expiration and rumoured signing.
WWE has been interested in landing former World of Stardom Champion Giulia for a number of months, with her contract with STARDOM set to come up in March.
At this week’s STARDOM event in Tokyo Dome Hall, Giulia announced that her Donna Del Mondo faction would be going their separate ways, which added more fuel to the fire that she would be joining WWE.
In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Giulia will be taking time off in March following her contract expiration, where she will extensively work on improving her English before joining WWE.
Though she may not be headed straight to WWE in March, she is expected to end up in the company before the end of 2024.
