WWE Star Not Medically Cleared & Match Canceled As Precaution Ahead Of Very Important Show WWE

Veer Mahaan is not medically cleared for NXT Deadline as a precaution ahead of WWE’s major live event in India in January.

The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) were set to take on Indus-Sher (Mahaan and Sanga) at NXT Deadline on Saturday, December 10.

This match was pulled during the latest episode of NXT.

In a segment, Veer and Sanga withdrew their challenge after learning that Julius Creed requires further tests on a potential rib injury and would not be 100 per cent.

The reason for this change was explained during the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer said:

“The real story is that Veer’s not cleared. They’re trying to protect him because Veer and Sanga have to be healthy for that India show because it’s built all around them, and that’s in mid-January.

“And there’s a lot of money involved in that. So they basically can’t risk him being hurt to miss that show, so they pulled them from this show, which is, from a financial standpoint, not important at all.”

It’s been reported in recent weeks that that WWE will be holding a major live event in Hyderabad, India on January 18, 2023 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

The event will be WWE’s first live event in India since December 2017.

Veer Mahaan was born in Gopiganj, Uttar Pradesh, India. Pulling the match seems to be a precautionary move to ensure he can compete at the upcoming event.
