VIDEO: Dominik Mysterio Receives Insane Crowd Reaction At Mexico WWE Event WWE

A top star, no stranger to massive crowd responses, may have received his loudest yet at a recent live event in Mexico City, Mexico.

While NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio gets booed out of pretty much every building he steps into, stepping into Mexico, where his father Rey Mysterio made his name, he unsurprisingly received a very frosty response.

Captured by a Twitter user, live at Arena CDMX, in Mexico City, ‘Dirty’ Dom attempted to address the crowd on the microphone, yet he was prevented from doing so by the sheer volume of the crowd’s vociferous boos.

Eventually, as Dom was about to get a word in, he was then interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, with the two taking each other on for Seth’s title later at the event.

You can watch a clip of Dominik Mysterio attempting to speak to the Mexico City crowd below.

Rollins would of course defeat Dom in the match, with his sights firmly on fellow Judgement Day member Finn Balor, ahead of their title match at SummerSlam on August 5.

Elsewhere in the Rollins household, Becky Lynch is seemingly gearing up for her own match at Detroit’s Ford Field in a few weeks time against Trish Stratus.

While Lynch has to first overcome Zoey Stark on this week’s Raw (July 24), the match is expected to happen, however, there have been rumors surrounding The Man’s status post-SummerSlam, with some suggesting she could be set to take time off.

A new update has seemingly cleared up the five-time women’s champion’s situation, click here to find out more.

Another WWE star debuted a new look at the Mexico City event, which you can read more about right here.
