You may remember that Seth Rollins was once a fan of wearing an all white number to the ring, but this suddenly stopped for apparently no reason.
However, Seth has now shed light on why this is while talking to a fan at a recent autograph signing, and surprise surprise…
“No, Vince won’t let me wear it, because he’s a weird old man who doesn’t understand that people think it’s the coolest gear they’ve ever seen. Yeah. He doesn’t get it. I get that question more than anything else. What does that mean? It’s just huge, man. People loved it I think it’s in the archive. I gave it to our archivist guy. He puts it up at all the Axxesses and stuff.”
According to the fan who recorded these comments, Seth was aware that she was recording him, but the tweet with the original video has now been deleted.
It would seem like a very unusual move to call your boss a weird old man if you knew you were being recorded, so perhaps this was very much an off the record comment, but perhaps it’s best not to say it at all, especially to wrestling fans who aren’t exactly known for being discreet.
