A new report has provided an update on whether WWE Superstar Spectacle will be broadcasted.
WWE will make their return to India for the upcoming Superstar Spectacle event from GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on Friday, September 8.
Details on the airing of this event haven’t been revealed until now.
PWInsider reports that the current plan for WWE Superstar Spectacle is for it to be a live event, not a television broadcast. Multiple WWE sources indicated that the event will not be streaming live on the WWE Network or Peacock.
However, it is possible the company could decide to air the event locally in India though. As of right now, this doesn’t seem to be the case.
WWE’s previous TV special for India was Superstar Spectacular, which was timed for Republic Day in January 2021.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, John Cena, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Matt Riddle, Ludwig Kaiser and Odyssey Jones are all locally advertised for the event.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates and news for WWE Superstar Spectacle when they become available.
