Will Ospreay has reflected on his first tour with All Elite Wrestling after officially joining the company full-time.
AEW announced that Ospreay signed with the company back at the Full Gear pay-per-view in November, before his contract with NJPW had expired.
Ospreay said that he would be becoming All Elite full-time once his commitments to NJPW had finished up, which happened last month.
Ospreay competed in his first match as a full-time AEW star at Revolution, defeating Konosuke Takeshita in an incredible match.
Taking to Twitter today, Ospreay reflected emotionally on the closing of his first AEW tour, noting that he is ‘banged up bad’.
He said:
And thus my first tour under the @AEW banner has come to an end.
Thank you so much for such an overwhelming response. To everyone backstage thank you so much for allowing into the home you’ve built, I will cherish this place & treat it as my own.
I’m banged up bad but my foot is still on the gas pedal.
But now I’m gonna get on this flight home to my beautiful Mrs & step son and enjoy the fruits of my labour. I believe in AEW.
