William Regal is now set to be at the January 6 edition of WWE SmackDown.
As previously reported, William Regal has officially ended his run with All Elite Wrestling to return to WWE in a management position with the new regime led by Triple H.
Now, there is an update on when Regal will be backstage at WWE after officially re-signing with the promotion earlier this week.
PWInsider has confirmed that William Regal will be at tomorrow’s Friday Night SmackDown in Memphis, Tennessee.
Regal spent exactly one year out of WWE after being released by the previous regime on January 5, 2022.
Various reports have indicated that Regal will become the Vice President for the company and deal with scouting of talent as he was previously.
William Regal signed with AEW back in March 2022 after debuting at AEW Revolution 2022 and forming the Blackpool Combat Club with Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley. He asked for his request to return to WWE to be closer to his son Charlie Dempsey who currently works in NXT.
We will have further updates on William Regal’s WWE return when they become available.
