William Regal has commented on the NXT Global Heritage Invitational match.
On the September 12 edition of WWE NXT, the NXT Global Heritage Invitational will continue as Tyler Bate will face Axiom in Group A competition.
With two former NXT UK stalwarts set to do battle on tonight’s show, former NXT GM William Regal took to social media to give some thoughts on this showdown. He wrote:
“Two of the very best of their age in this job going at it for a trophy that means the world to me. European and British Wrestling couldn’t have two better skilled opponents representing them for a trophy that is a celebration of European Wrestling and its influence.”
Axiom currently has 1 point in Group A, while this bout will mark Tyler Bate’s first match in the tournament.
Over in Group B, Nathan Frazer will face Akira Tozawa. The winner of the tournament will face Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy on September 30.
