In the WWE Draft, WWE drafted Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to the SmackDown roster, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to the Raw roster.
Fans were waiting to see what WWE would do in regards to the branded championships, as last year the New Day and Street Profits exchanged their Tag Team Championships for the same reason. The segment was met with a lot of criticism from WWE fans.
Charlotte Flair would go on to retain her championship by disqualification against Bianca Belair on this week’s Raw show, and Becky Lynch retained her championship at Crown Jewel yesterday. But surely WWE wouldn’t make the same mistake again, right?
Well, WWE has now officially confirmed that Becky and Charlotte will exchange their championships to kick off tonight’s (October 22) episode of SmackDown.

Survivor Series is the next pay-per-view, so why Becky and Charlotte, two women who famously do not get along, would simply hand their championships over so close to the event was not explained.
