WWE & 2K To Partner On ‘Many More’ Games

WWE & 2K To Partner On ‘Many More’ Games Twitter

Seemingly dispelling any rumblings of WWE transitioning to a new video game partner, today 2K staff shared photos at WWE offices.

Ronnie Singh is 2K sports’ digital marketing director but much like a WWE star, he is perhaps better known by his Twitter and IG handles Ronnie2K. Today Singh posted about being at WWE HQ and a photo posing with Stephanie McMahon, including the caption:

“The two biggest heels in the biz sitting in the boss’s @WWE chair.

In all seriousness, such a pleasure meeting a person I have long admired for her presence, business acumen & philanthropy @StephMcMahon

To partnering on many more @wwegames launches.”

Also posted from the WWE 2K22 account was a photo of multiple staff members on the trip to WWE HQ which had a caption reading:

Shoutout to @WWE and @StephMcMahon for the continued partnership and an amazing launch of #WWE2K22. Here’s to many more years of success! #ItHitsDifferent”

This excitement for the future seems to counter previous reports that WWE had grown frustrated with their presence in the video gaming space and had even gone so far as to have some preliminary discussions with EA Games.

WWE 2K22 has been generally well-received since its release and still with a little intrigue as recently a gaming modder on Reddit was able to discover some left behind dialogue revealing some interesting initial plans for a storyline within the game.

WWE 2K22 is also a marquee sponsor of the upcoming WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas. You can see details for Night 1, WrestleMania Saturday here and Night 2 WrestleMania Sunday here.
