A former AEW star has revealed that they played a role in Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins’ appearances in the WWE 2K24 video game.
With some players already getting their hands on this year’s instalment in the WWE 2K series via early access, more and more clips are circulating around social media showing off superstar entrances, new match types and more.
One such star which early access players will be able to play as is Stardust, the former character of WWE 2K24 cover star Cody Rhodes – who is a bonus DLC character for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe and 40 Years of WrestleMania editions of the game.
When a Twitter user showed off Stardust’s entrance online, it caught the attention of a surprising name – former AEW star Alan Angels.
Angels, who now works for TNA, revealed that it was he who actually performed the motion-capture for Stardust’s entrance in 2K24.
In response to the clip Angels tweeted:
My favorite thing I got to MoCap this year
When another Twitter user then asked Angels what other mo-cap he did for the game, he revealed that he also provided the same for Seth Rollins’ championship celebration in this year’s game.
It’s not just WWE 2K24 entrances that are circulating the web however, as a popular community creation in the game managed to capture the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle – click here for full details.
