WWE Backstage Reaction To Logan Paul Vs. Dillon Danis Revealed

The WWE backstage reaction to Logan Paul taking on Dillon Danis in a boxing match has been revealed in a new report.

Days before making his WWE return on SmackDown to set up a Crown Jewel match with Rey Mysterio, Paul called out Mysterio in his post-Danis fight interview.

According to Fightful Select, WWE had “no concerns whatsoever” about the fight going in Paul’s favor and using that to set up the Mysterio match.

Paul dominated throughout the fight but only won via disqualification due to Danis’ antics.

Danis has since appealed the result, leading to Paul calling him “embarrassing and desperate”.

WWE has made multiple references on its website to Paul’s win, and Paul mentioned it on SmackDown as well.

The follow-up to Paul calling out Mysterio in his post-fight interview was Mysterio appearing the Ariel Helwani Show and announcing the segment for SmackDown.

And then confirmed during that segment – Rey Mysterio is set to put his United States Championship on the line against Logan Paul on November 4, 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at WWE Crown Jewel.
