Injured WWE Teases Return After Nine Month Absence WWE

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman has teased his return following his recovery from cervical spine surgery.

Strowman teamed with Ricochet for his last match in May 2023 defeating the team of Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis).

Last month he spoke about his recovery journey from spinal fusion surgery saying it would likely be “another month (or) two” before he could “start easing back into the ring.”

In a new update, Strowman posted to social media, sharing a post by Andrews Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama and a message of his own, posting:

“Closer and closer. The Monster’s Coming Home!!!!”

As can be seen below, the article from Becker’s Spine Review shared by Andrews Medical Center refers to Strowman, stating:

“World Wrestling Entertainment star Adam Scherr had a one-level cervical spine fusion at Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala. but he assured fans he would return to the ring on his Instagram page.”

In December 2023, Strowman promised that he “never finished with Roman Reigns” calling him his “arch nemesis” and “greatest rival”.

The documentary “Braun Strowman Waukesha Strong” had its Peacock premiere on December 15, 2023.

WrestleTalk wishes Strowman well as he works towards a return to the ring.
