Two-time WWE World Champion Drew McIntyre has wished fellow Scotsman and two-time PDC World Champion Gary Anderson good luck ahead of tonight’s final.
McIntyre tweeted:
Scotland could do with another World Champion Good luck tonight, @garyanderson180! @officialpdc
Apparently flag emojis don’t work on here, but that’s supposed to be a Scotland flag, obviously.
Anderson, who won the PDC World Championship in 2015 and 2016, plays Welshman Gerwyn Price in the latter’s first World Final tonight. Anderson beat Dave Chisnall 6-3 in his semi-final, while Price defeated Stephen Bunting 6-4.
Darts and wrestling rarely cross over, so I’m absolutely gonna take any chance I can get to write about it when they do.
