WWE Confirms Name Change

WWE Confirms Name Change WWE

WWE has now officially changed Sarah Logan’s ring name, with the internal listings now recognising her name change.

Following a number of teases, Sarah made her WWE return last month, joining forces with the Viking Raiders on the November 11 edition of SmackDown.

On the November 25 show, was referred to as ‘Valhalla’, adopting a new name for her viking inspired character.

Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that Sarah is now listed as ‘Valhalla’ internally.

This confirms that Valhalla is Sarah’s official ring name, rather than the name of this persona, or a new nickname like ‘Michin’ Mia Yim.

Valhalla’s new gimmick has been criticised, with fans drawing comparisons between the look of the new character and indie star Max The Impaler.

NWA’s Natalia Markova has called Sarah/Valhalla out, noting that the new character is a ‘disrespectful ripoff’.

Sarah had been released by WWE in April 2020, under the previous regime. She was one of a number of stars rehired following Triple H taking over creative.

The former Riott Squad member hasn’t wrestled since returning to WWE.
