WWE Faction Teases Breaking Up On SmackDown

Despite having gotten together fairly recently, a WWE faction is already teasing a break-up after a SmackDown loss.

On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Bobby Lashley accompanied the Street Profits to the ring for their match against Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar.

While throughout the match Lashley would remain on his best behavior, at one point when he attempted to make an interference and caused pause to Angelo Dawkins, it seemed to cost the Profits the match.

However, like any callous faction leader, Lashley didn’t recognize the pause from Dawkins as a sign of anything but weakness as shortly thereafter in a backstage segment, he was demanding of the tag team.

Letting them know in no uncertain terms that if they weren’t prepared to “pull the trigger,” then they needed to give back all the suits, gifts, etc. because he was done with them.

If they couldn’t pull the trigger, then they could go sit in catering and Lashley will “find someone who can,” in an intriguing bit of potential foreshadowing.

Lashley was announced as the guest for the Grayson Waller Effect on SmackDown next week.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, the WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY retained her title in a match against Asuka with Charlotte Flair benignly watching at ringside.
