WWE Star References Heel Turn Tease WWE

Santos Escobar has referenced disension teased within the LWO during this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Following Dominik Mysterio helping Santos Escobar to defeat Rey Mysterio on the March 22 SmackDown episode, Rey and the LWO faction confronted Escobar, Dominik and Legado Del Fantasma on March 29.

It was during this segment that Rey Mysterio challenged the duo to a tag-team match at WrestleMania 40.

When Santos and Dominik asked who Mysterio’s partner would be, Mysterio announced that he’ll team with the newest member of the LWO, Dragon Lee.

With Carlito looking unimpressed after Mysterio announced Dragon Lee as his partner, there has been a lot of speculation about Carlito potentially turning on Mysterio and the LWO.

Santos Escobar has now taken to Twitter to share a photo of Carlito’s face, highlighting that the LWO aren’t all on the same page.

Escobar captioned the photo:

🤣 🤡

You can view Carlito’s post below.

Carlito first sided with this version of the Latino World Order during his one-off appearance at Backlash 2023, where he helped honorary member Bad Bunny to defeat Damian Priest in their street fight.

The former Intercontinental Champion later re-joined WWE, with Carlito teaming with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar in his return match at Fastlane 2023 against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.

Carlito was previously the cause of dissension within the LWO, with the wrestling veteran blaming Santos Escobar for Mysterio losing the US Title back in November. Escobar turned heel and attacked Rey Mysterio shortly after tensions were teased.

An AEW star has reacted to their real life brother Dragon Lee joining the LWO faction, which you can read more about right here.
