Top Star Hits Back At WWE Fans, ‘They Have No Respect For What I Do’ WWE

A top star has hit back at WWE fans who have “no respect” for his efforts inside the squared circle following a particularly hard-hitting performance at Money in the Bank 2023.

Speaking on his imPAULsive podcast, Logan Paul reflected on his experience competing in his first-ever ladder match in WWE.

While discussing the match he singled out the moment he performed a standing frog splash on Damian Priest on top of a ladder draped between the ring and the barricade.

The spot was incredibly painful looking for Paul, yet the fans showed little appreciation for him or the moment.

Paul explains further:

“These fans go so hard. They have no respect for what I do. I’m sacrificing my body out there.

“I jumped onto Damian Priest on a ladder, frog-splashed him, and bounced off this human like a trampoline.

“I felt his rib cage crush under the weight of my 60-inch box jump.

“They started chanting, ‘You still suck. You still suck’.”

Despite Paul receiving acclaim from many fans for his excellent transition into wrestling and his natural abilities in the ring, his presence still draws a ton of ire from the crowd.

Although he was positioned as a babyface at one point during his feuds with The Miz and Roman Reigns in mid to late 2022, Paul has been a much more natural fit as a heel.

With Paul falling short at Money in the Bank, it seems as if his next angle leading into SummerSlam will be with the man who he has now shared two big moments with at Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank – Ricochet.

Paul detailed what led to the two ‘brawling’ after a planned ‘viral’ spot went wrong during the Money in the Bank ladder match, click here to read on.
