WWE Star Accuses Legend Of ‘Stealing’ Championship

Grayson Waller is one WWE star who is less than impressed with Rey Mysterio becoming the new United States Champion.

Austin Theory was originally set to defend the WWE United States Championship against Santos Escobar on the August 11 edition of SmackDown

Following two attacks by Theory, Escobar was unable to compete and Rey Mysterio stepped up to take the fallen LWO member’s place going on to end Theory’s reign as champion.

On the SmackDown LowDown after the episode, Mysterio would go on to say:

“But my team, the LWO, this ain’t my title. This is our title. This is the LWO’s title. Incredible.”

Someone who doesn’t quite believe that message of brotherhood is Grayson Waller.

Taking to Twitter, Waller wrote:

“They must be so proud of Rey stealing Santos’ opportunity and championship.

“Love seeing the veterans take care of the next generation. Can’t wait to ask Rey about this #GWEffect”

Mysterio is a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect this Friday, August 18, on WWE SmackDown.
