Hall Of Famer Appears For WWE Payback 2023 Main Event

A WWE Hall of Famer appeared at tonight’s September 2 WWE Payback 2023 premium live event in Pittsburgh.

Shinsuke Nakamura was in his first singles WWE premium live event main event tonight against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The Great Muta was in Pittsburgh tonight to support Shinsuke Nakamura, being shown in the crowd before the match kicked off.

Muta was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Muta didn’t actually get involved though, and Seth Rollins was able to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Earlier in the night, WWE Payback saw a segment featuring Cody Rhodes on the Grayson Waller Effect in which Cody introduced the ‘newest member of the Raw roster’.

Also, John Cena served as a special guest host for the night, as well as special guest referee for one of the most hotly anticipated matches of the night in the form of LA Knight vs The Miz – find out what happened at this link.
