It has been officially announced that a WWE Hall of Famer will be taking on current AEW star Joey Janela in a match next month.
Ricky Morton, one half of the legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Express tag team alongside Robert Gibson, will be facing Janela at the Spring Break 4 show on October 10.

Morton took to Twitter to react to the news, writing:
For my 64th birthday, I get to wrestle @JANELABABY for the biggest independent wrestling scene @GCWrestling_ Wow, just wow. #JJSB4
Morton was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 alongside Gibson but has made several appearances for AEW since its inception, even as recently as last month.
