WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley had been acting as a producer for WWE’s NXT brand since his retirement from the ring, before he left the company back in January of this year.
Since his departure, D-Von has reunited the Dudley Boyz with Bubba Ray, with the iconic duo’s return match set to take place at the upcoming IMPACT 1000 show.
Ahead of the show, the Hall of Famers spoke to Sports Illustrated, where they discussed their reunion and careers.
In the article however, it was revealed that the Dudley Boyz recently signed legends contracts with the company.
The article claimed:
The Dudley Boyz were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018. They recently signed Legends contracts with WWE, and LoMonaco still works as Bully Ray in Impact, where he and Hughes were also inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. And it is only fitting that the 24-time champions are celebrated across the industry.
Their rise to wrestling immortality stands as one of wrestling’s most revered success stories. Looking back at their origin, it is remarkable to see the evolution from comedic tag team to one of the greatest ever.
Bubba Ray has continued to work for IMPACT Wrestling as Bully Ray since his departure from WWE.
