A WWE Hall of Famer believes Jade Cargill “looks like money.”
On September 26, WWE announced that the first AEW TBS Champion had signed a multi-year contract with the company.
Since then, the promotion has heavily hyped the signing and Cargill across Raw and SmackDown. It seems inevitable that the former AEW star will be a huge deal in WWE.
On the latest episode of 1 Of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam stated he is not surprised that WWE decided to sign her. He said:
“She looks like money to me. She looks great, marketable, skilled. I’m not surprised that WWE wouldn’t want to pick her up, and I don’t see what would keep her from being a huge star.”
“She’s very magnetic and it’s cool to look at her, in a different way then say Chyna years ago because [Jade’s] different.”
“She’s more feminine and there’s like a sexiness to her, but she also looks badass. Incredibly fit.”
Recalling Cargill’s first AEW match teaming with Shaquille O’Neal against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on the March 3, 2021 episode of Dynamite, RVD said:
“I saw the match where she wrestled with Shaq.”
“I don’t know if It was her very first, but I can tell from that, that she had to have somebody show her the right way because you couldn’t go through just one match like that if you were hopeless, you couldn’t do it.”
Rob Van Dam recently made some appearances for Cargill’s former home, AEW. Most recently, RVD teamed with HOOK to defeat Matt Menard and Angelo Parker on an episode of AEW Collision.
A new report has revealed which main roster brand WWE plans to debut Jade Cargill on, which you can read at this link.
As previously reported, a major spoiler has also been revealed on when Cargill will make her WWE debut.
