A former member of the Hurt Business faction has sent a message to Cedric Alexander following the reveal of his new WWE tag-team.
WWE has now shared a video revealing that Cedric Alexander and Ashante Adonis have been repackaged into a new team on SmackDown.
Alexander previously made an impact as a tag-team wrestler alongside Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley and MVP in the Hurt Business faction.
MVP replied to Alexander’s tweet about the new pairing, writing:
How will you “level up” from the fashion choices you made as a “business man”?
The Hurt Business was formed in 2020 during the lockdown era of WWE. They became a top act during the company’s time in the ThunderDome before disbanding in early 2021.
Alexander and Shelton Benjamin still wrestled together following their split from Lashley and MVP, ahead of Benjamin’s WWE release in September 2023.
Benjamin is now set to wrestle his first non-WWE match in over six years, which you can read more about right here.
Alexander last wrestled on WWE TV during the November 10 edition of SmackDown, losing to Dragon Lee in singles action.
Adonis’ most recent televised match saw him lose to LA Knight in July 2023.
