Jerry Lawler’s Reaction To Being Namedropped By Logan Paul Revealed WWE

Jerry Lawler’s reaction to being namedropped by Logan Paul on a recent episode of WWE Raw has been revealed.

The WWE Hall of Famer is recovering from a stroke that he suffered in February 2023, with Dutch Mantel recently providing an update saying that he “is much better, but still not recovering as well as they would hope.”

Bill Apter would provide a further update, while also discussing Logan Paul’s namedrop on the June 19 episode of WWE Raw from Cleveland.

Speaking on Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Apter said:

“He mentioned that he saw Raw this past Monday night and that Logan Paul mentioned him on Monday Night Raw, and he was thrilled to hear that.

“But he did have a problem remembering parts of that segment, like when (Paul) mentioned LeBron James, (Lawler) couldn’t mention that name.

“Yeah, it was hard for him to finish the sentences, but he’s much better than when I talked to him about three weeks ago.”

Apter would go on to describe the progress that Lawler has made, including how the King has recently recognised a joke that the pair regularly shared for the first time since the stroke.

In May 2023, Jim Ross spoke about Jerry Lawler’s recovery, saying:

“He’s still struggling with his health. He’s got good doctors and they think they pinpointed a lot of the issues, but he’s not out of the woods yet as far as getting back to a good degree of health.”

Ross himself has been dealing with some health issues which have caused him to withdraw from being part of the AEW Collision announce team.

Logan Paul will feature in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match along with Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch and Damian Priest with a WWE men’s championship match contract on the line.

It was recently reported that there were “internal pitches” over who should win the match on July 1, 2023, in London, England.
