Four WWE Hall Of Famers To Announce Upcoming Matches Confirmed

Two WWE stars have qualified for a spot in an upcoming interesting premium live event match as a match type comes back for a second year.

After debuting last year at NXT Deadline, the Iron Survivor Challenge match is coming back again to the NXT exclusive premium live event.

While last year’s participants were seemingly nominated and elected via a panel of ‘WWE Legends’ this year, things are a little different.

There are still four legends, this time Mick Foley, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, Lita and JBL, who will all be responsible for booking their own qualifying matches.

Selecting pairs of NXT stars to face off, the winners of the qualifying matches will then advance to the actual Iron Survivor match at NXT Deadline.

Tonight’s episode of NXT (November 7) featured Mick Foley as the legend making the matches.

First up, Foley attempted to squash the Halloween beef between Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley after the latter dressed up as a the former for Halloween and did a scathing impersonation.

Fallon Henley lost to the former NXT Women’s Champion and Tiffany Stratton advanced to the Iron Survivor Challenge match.

In the men’s division, Foley booked an intriguing match between Tyler Bate and Dijak.

In the end of the impressive match (which included Dijak doing a backflip off the top rope and landing on his feet in the ring) the ‘heavyweight who moves like a cruiserweight’ style noted by Vic Joseph on commentary was on full display.

In the end it was Dijak who picked up the victory to advance to the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline.
