Johnny Gargano has now commented on achieving his lifelong dream after qualifying for a match at WrestleMania 40.
With Finn Balor and Damian Priest set to defend their WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania in a six pack ladder match, qualifying matches have been taking place on WWE TV to determine the five sets of challengers.
Gargano and Ciampa of DIY faced off against Julius and Brutus Creed on Monday’s (March 18) edition of Raw, with DIY ultimately victorious in their WrestleMania ladder match qualifier.
Ahead of competing at the Show of Shows for the first time, Johnny Gargano has taken to Twitter to celebrate punching his ticket to WrestleMania.
Gargano wrote:
It’s been quite the road, but I’m proud to FINALLY be able to say #DIY is going to WrestleMania!
#JohnnyWrestlingMania

Gargano has stated on multiple occasions that it has been his lifelong dream to appear at WrestleMania, with the former NXT Champion citing the possibility of wrestling at the Show of Shows as one of the reasons he chose to return to WWE in August 2022.
