A current WWE name has reacted to fans that claimed their reaction to The Rock’s return on Raw was ‘faked’.
The Rock made his return to WWE television on last night’s Day 1 episode of Raw, when he was revealed as the ‘former WWE Champion’ teased by Triple H on social media over the weekend.
The Rock’s return was kept a secret, surprising those in the building in San Diego, but no-one was more surprised than Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin.
WWE shared footage of Samantha’s reaction to Rock’s return, which you can see in the video below.
When one fan accused her of ‘faking’ her reaction, she responded:
Everyone think about how funny this comment is when you consider the fact that this was one of my favorite moments of my life.
One of my happiest times but I’m doing too much in ‘your’ opinion hahaha thank you for the laugh. Happy New Year.
