WWE signed former ROH star Quinn McKay back when ROH closed down in late 2021.
McKay, now under the name Kelly Kincaid, has served as one of the backstage interviewers on the NXT brand, primarily on the NXT Level Up show.
However, Kelly has yet to wrestle a match for WWE, and it doesn’t appear as though that will ever end up being the case.
Kelly recently interviewed Kelani Jordan following last night’s NXT show, where she challenged Blair Davenport to a match at NXT No Mercy this Saturday.
When one fan asked Kelly why she’s not wrestling in the company, she replied, confirming that she has retired from the ring.
She simply wrote:
She’s retired
Last night’s NXT show saw a lot of big implications for this Saturday’s No Mercy show.
Trick Williams was victorious in a four-way match to earn the NXT North American Championship shot at Dominik Mysterio on the show.
The show also saw Butch defeat Joe Coffey to win the NXT Global Heritage Invitational to earn a shot at Noam Dar’s Heritage Cup on the show.
