Natalya has her sights on a member of the WWE NXT roster, praising the champion for what they’ve achieved so far.
With Tiffany Stratton as the current WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Natalya spoke about her success on Busted Open, saying:
“Never judge a book by its cover. Tiffany has really embraced her character, and she’s interesting to watch, but she’s also open to, ‘this is what I need to work on.’
“She said she wants to get better in the ring and knows that she’s still not there yet, but she wants to grow.
“She stepped out of character to say she wants to get better, and I really respect that. One day, I’d like to have a match with Tiffany, and I’m not opposed to going to NXT to do that.”
Stratton has previously discussed Charlotte Flair being an inspiration on her journey to becoming a wrestler.
She became NXT Women’s Champion at Battleground on May 28, defeating Lyra Valkyria with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.
In the run up to her title win, Stratton praised Natalya for a training session that the WWE veteran delivered at the Performance Center.
Stratton discussed her use of the finishing move in a recent interview with Ryan Satin.
Recently, WWE has brought main roster members to NXT, with Baron Corbin losing to Carmelo Hayes at Gold Rush as part of an ongoing character shift.
