“I Also Dig Crazy Chicks” – WWE NXT Star Tatum Paxley Reacts To AJ Lee Praise WWE

Tatum Paxley has reacted to praise from AJ Lee, who offered to adopt the WWE NXT star in a recent message.

The recent NXT Revenge special saw Tatum Paxley defeat Blake Monroe in a Casket Match, retaining the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

A disturbing vision in black on NXT, the star has recently seen praise from AJ Lee, who described Paxley as “the coolest” and offering to adopt her.

Paxley clearly sees a kindred spirit in the former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, responding in a post on Twitter that reads:

“YES! I ALSO DIG CRAZY CHICKS!”

AJ Lee lost the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42, and recently reflected upon that loss, noting that it was not a goodbye.

Paxley & AJ Lee – Crazy Is Their Superpower

With an autobiography called ‘Crazy Is My Superpower’, AJ Lee isn’t shy about talking about the subject of her own mental health.

Redrawing the line where ‘crazy’ exists, away from the pantomime interpretation that may have been acceptable in past generations of WWE, AJ Lee has shown that being self-aware is a powerful message in its own right.

Over in NXT, Paxley is doing something equally insightful and entertaining. Sure, her “craziness” may be manifested in a more obvious way, but she has managed to blend aspects of the wildness of Liv Morgan, with the dangerous edge of Rhea Ripley and the carefree attitude, within context of her character, of AJ Lee.

While it’s too early to say whether Paxley will be called up to the main roster in the short term, having signed with WWE in August 2021, a move in that direction could be an interesting thing for the star, so that she can seek more opportunities. That said, she has previously stated that, while ready, she is “in zero rush” to be called up.

Paige, who recently made her return to WWE, has stated that Paxley, Blake Monroe and Sol Ruca are stars of the future on the women’s roster, further lending weight to the caliber of competition in NXT. With AJ Lee also echoing praise for Paxley, the NXT star would arguably be an ideal choice for a program with either veteran star.

For the time being, though, Paxley remains a fixture on NXT, continuing to entertain the fans with her antics and drive to move her own career as a WWE star forward.
