The somewhat surprising match that could take place at Hell in a Cell on Sunday night as a replacement for the Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio match being moved to SmackDown tonight has been revealed.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE had planned to have Kevin Owens go one-on-one with Sami Zayn inside Hell in a Cell, with the match being “set for the show” as a replacement for the Universal title match.
However, the report goes on to say that the planned Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn match “also changed by early Friday afternoon”, with it now being unclear which match, if any, WWE will replace the Reigns vs. Mysterio match with.
Of course, it’s always possible that WWE could end up deciding to have Owens vs. Zayn inside Hell in a Cell by SmackDown tonight, or higher-ups could give the slot to Seth Rollins and Cesaro, for example.
