WWE Potentially Changing Title Belt Design

WWE Potentially Changing Title Belt Design WWE

WWE WrestleMania 40 main eventer Cody Rhodes has teased the company potentially changing a title belt design following this weekend.

Cody Rhodes will attempt to once again “finish his story” when he battles with The Bloodline on both nights of WrestleMania 40.

On WrestleMania Saturday, Rhodes will team with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to face Roman Reigns and The Rock in the main event.

Then, “The American Nightmare” will challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday.

Ahead of this weekend’s shows, Cody Rhodes spoke at a WWE World panel and discussed potentially changing the Undisputed WWE Universal Title design if he does win on Sunday. He said:

“If I do…maybe we change how that title looks.”

Rhodes has previously spoken of his fondness for the Winged Eagle design used for the WWE Championship throughout the 1990s.

Of course, as fans may remember Rhodes is also no stranger to changing title designs in WWE, having previously done so during his reign as Intercontinental Champion in 2011.
