WWE Raw in Brief: August 13 2018

Here is the pre-Summerslam Raw summary…

Dean Ambrose returned to a huge response during a contract signing segment for the WWE Intercontinental Title at Summerslam to help Seth Rollins take out Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The Lunatic Fringe (who no longer has a fringe) will be in Seth’s corner at Summerslam.

Brock Lesnar choked out, F5’d and destroyed Roman Reigns after Paul Heyman blinded him with spray to the eyes, showing that Heyman’s supposed split with Lesnar was all a ruse. Lesnar got some heel heat but by the end the fans were loving his destruction job on Reigns.

Ronda Rousey made an emotional in-ring speech paying tribute to Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart and sending a message of support to his daughter, her friend Natalya.

Ronda destroyed Alexa Bliss’ private security before a match between Bliss and Ember Moon.

Ember Moon beat Raw Women’s Champion by DQ when Alicia Fox interfered. Afterwards Ronda Rousey beat up Fox.

Braun Strowman and Finn Balor beat Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal after Strowman powerslammed and pinned Jinder. Afterwards Constable Corbin laid out Balor with End of Days.

The B Team retained the Raw Tag Team Titles in a three-way defence against The Deleters of Worlds and The Revival after Curtis Axel pinned Bray Wyatt.

Bobby Lashley destroyed ‘local musician’ Ricky Roberts (Elias’ biggest fan) after he smashed a guitar over Lashley in an effort to impress Elias as he watched from the stage.

Constable Corbin pinned Tyler Breeze after a Deep Six.

Ruby Riott rolled up and pinned Sasha Banks.

Bobby Roode and Titus Worldwide beat Mojo Rawley and The Authors of Pain after Roode pinned Rawley following a Glorious DDT.
