WWE Raw Star Wants Intercontinental Championship Match With GUNTHER At WrestleMania

Elias has been fortunate enough to share big WrestleMania moments with some of the all-time great WWE stars, such as John Cena and the Undertaker.

Elias’ sole WrestleMania match took place inside an empty WWE Performance Center against King Corbin at WrestleMania 36.

Elias was a recent guest on WWE Die Woche, where he was asked about who his dream WrestleMania opponent would be against.

He said:

“Listen, I could throw it out there a million different ways. It would all depend on the story we get to tell.

“Guys like the Undertaker, John Cena there’s two of the guys. I mean, you mentioned I’ve had my WrestleMania interactions with them. I’d love for it to play out in some sort of big-time matchup on the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania.

As for the current members of the WWE roster, Elias said:

“The here and now I’m trying to think of who is even in the running. GUNTHER, with the Intercontinental Championship. To have a big championship match at WrestleMania would be awesome.

“Austin Theory and Seth Rollins, whoever comes out on top there. Any sort of championship match.”

Elias recently came up short in his attempt to qualify for the United States Championship Elimination Chamber match, losing to Montez Ford.
