Last night, it was confirmed that Smackdown on FS1 last week brought in just 888,000 viewers. This is surprising considering Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were on the show.
The show was outdrawn by AEW: Dynamite on TNT two days prior, and it has been reported that WWE was expecting the show to draw 1.2million more viewers.
By comparison, Raw brought in just 2.133 million viewers according to Showbuzz Daily. The show was the final episode of WWE main roster programming before Crown Jewel later this week.
The hourly breakdown for the show can be seen below, with a big drop off in the third hour:
- 8 pm: 2,326,000 million
- 9 pm: 2,146,000 million
- 10 pm: 1,928,000 million
WWE will have to respond to the falling ratings somehow. With matches like Kairi Sane vs. Becky Lynch, Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo vs. AJ Styles taking place last night, perhaps the company is beginning to try.
