WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels has commented on the possibility of him hitting physical moves on WWE TV.
Michaels wrestled one of the most beautiful retirement matches at WrestleMania 26 in 2010, losing to The Undertaker in a match where his career was on the line.
HBK returned to the ring to team with Triple H to defeat Undertaker and Kane at Crown Jewel 2018 in a match which Michaels later admitted he regretted competing in.
During Michaels’ appearance on Busted Open Radio, the NXT boss was asked if he has any superkicks left in him.
Teasing one-off superkicks, Shawn Michaels replied:
“I can still always throw a superkick, easy. I got a lot of single shots left in me, but nothing too impressive, that’s for sure.”
Shawn Michaels occasionally makes appearances on NXT TV. He has been the main individual overseeing the brand since September 2021, taking over from Triple H who took time away from his duties to recover from a cardiac event.
Triple H now acts as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, and oversees the creative process for the entire company.
Shawn Michaels and Triple H have addressed plans for the NXT Stand & Deliver main event, which you can read more about right here.
