Pete Dunne has now commented on the return of his popular character on this week’s episode (January 19) of Friday Night SmackDown.
Dunne joined the main roster under the Vince McMahon regime in March 2022, with WWE aligning him with the Brawling Brutes and changing his ring name to ‘Butch’.
With WWE recently teasing the return of the Bruiserweight, fans have been anticipating Pete Dunne’s comeback under a Triple H-led creative team.
The Pete Dunne character officially returned on the January 19 edition of Dynamite, with Dunne teaming with Tyler Bate to defeat Pretty Deadly in tag-team action.
The former NXT UK Champion has now taken to Twitter to comment on the return of ‘Pete Dunne’, writing:

Also on SmackDown, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight signed the contract for their WWE Undisputed Universal Title match at Royal Rumble.
