WWE Set To Revive Rare Match Stipulation

WWE Set To Revive Rare Match Stipulation WWE

WWE is officially set to revive a rare match stipulation for an upcoming match in a top feud on Monday Night Raw.

For many weeks, Shinsuke Nakamura was teasing a mystery opponent, with him calling out the person and challenging them to fight him.

It was then revealed that the person Nakamura was targeting was none other than the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, following Rhodes leading his team to victory at Survivor Series WarGames.

The two took part in the first match of their rivalry on this week’s Raw show, with Rhodes winning by disqualification after Nakamura had used red mist in his face.

The rivalry between the two men is set to escalate to the next level at the upcoming WWE live event at Madison Square Garden, however.

It has now been announced that WWE will be reviving the Texas Bullrope stipulation, with Rhodes and Nakamura set to clash in the match at MSG on December 26.

The Texas Bullrope match was a staple of Cody’s father Dusty Rhodes, with Dusty even facing Randy Orton in one back at the Great American Bash in 2007.
