Planned Date For Roman Reigns’ Next WWE Match WWE

Roman Reigns is set to make his return to WWE after his victory over Jey Uso at SummerSlam in August 2023.

The Tribal Combat match saw Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and would lead to Uso joining the Raw roster on September 4.

Reigns has not appeared on WWE television since the August 11 episode of SmackDown.

Plans for Reigns’ return have now been revealed, with Dave Meltzer writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that:

“As expected, the next Reigns match will be 11/4 in Saudi Arabia.

“He will be back on television in the time leading to that show to promote the match.”

WWE Crown Jewel was recently confirmed as taking place on November 4, 2023 in Riyadh.

It marks the planned return of WWE to Saudi Arabia having last been in the kingdom for Night of Champions on May 27.

Looking into 2024, it was recently reported that Reigns wasn’t featured on the initial poster for WWE Royal Rumble.

The PWI500 list for 2023 had all the members of The Shield in the top spot three spots, with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins at number one, Reigns in the number two spot, and AEW International Champion Jon Moxley coming in third.

Rollins paid tribute to their collective legacy on social media, sharing a photo of an all-too-familiar hand gesture.
