WWE Made Sasha Banks Mistake At WWE Crown Jewel? WWE

An update has emerged on a potential tease for the returns of Sasha Banks and Naomi at Crown Jewel.

Both Banks and Naomi have been off TV since walking out on the May 16 edition of Raw.

Following recent hints that the duo could return soon, eagle-eyed fans spotted that Banks was once again featured in the WWE opening that aired before the November 5 premium live event.

Fans also noticed that Ric Flair’s signature ‘woo’ had also been removed from the open, once again.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), a source indicated that WWE played the wrong opening at the start of the show. Sharing the latest on Banks and Naomi, it was noted:

“We’ve asked about Naomi and Sasha Banks being added back into the WWE intro.

“A rep said ‘no news to report’ on that front. One source believed they just attached the wrong open to the start of the show.”

Banks recently fuelled speculation surrounding a potential return, teasing that she will have something big to announce soon, with date she has been waiting for the past six months fast approaching.

Per previous reports, Banks is still under WWE contract, but there were believed to be ‘hang-ups’ in negotiations for a new deal.

Banks and Naomi were recently pulled from a November 12 appearance due to an “unforeseen scheduling conflict”.
